    Sorry...
For not updating FOREVER!! Like, a year and a half or more ago.
SO much has happened in that time that it would be daft to attempt to write about it all :)
So for now, am getting on well at Newcastle, joined sooo many societies and having frequent social gatherings, it's FAB!
I recommend swing dancing to EVERYONE, it the most wonderously fabulous thing to do EVER! Hehe. I feel like I'm living in the 30s at the mo, what with visits to the incredible Tyneside Cinema which still has its 1930s decor and shows old films, and meanwhile has the lovliest coffee place on the 2nd floor that has ever existed inside a cinema :D
Medicine is hard, but not thinking about it too much right now, been too busy dashing about everywhere.
    Coming up:
Tomorrow: vintage clothes shopping with Becky, watching film with Gurneys, meeting French tandem learning guy, Ronan, swing dance lesson, salsa, yoga soc, LINKS first aid course, Stop Aids meetings, orchestra rehearsals, seminars, lectures galore, first exam...Lots of socialising :D
Ah...I really would like a bubble bath hehe
    I miss France :(
    It was sunny today yayyyy!!

So...felt like updating so here I am!
Hmm, first update since March 29th hah! Yeah, haven't really done anything since then so....
Of course, am joking, I've been so so busy and it's only been through sheer un-botheredness that I haven't updated. But am now bothered so yay. First of all, exams: I think they went pretty well, Chemistry was good once Emma and Heather (& Heather's mum) came to the rescue in a rabbit-escapee incident just minutes before I was supposed to be in the exam hall. That animal should be SHOT!! haha, not really, it's (quite) cute, but has rubbish timing. Maths....hmmm....what to say about maths...it was NOT easy, put it that way. Especially during Pure with 1000 decibel (OK, perhaps I exaggerate) rain noise on the roof, like it wasn't hard enough to concentrate anyway!! Stats was good, painless, and French was good (I suspect that the listening had been easified as it seemed a bit slower than usual). Actaully, I can't remember the exams that well now, to be honest. Probably a good thing. :) Miss Perris has informed me that she will text me from her beach resort seclusion in Havana to find out my French result on Aug 18th, which should be er, fun.

For the rest of June, I did a charity run for the British Heart Foundation, (thanks to my sponsors!) and managed to get all the way round without collapsing yayyy! In fact, I was quite proud of myself, felt quite athletic for a moment. Also went to Lorna's party, where I boogied (lol) and had a v v fun time with Lee Allen and his gf Alicia, Amy Martin and other unlikely but still cool people. I love dancing anyway :) Had a FABBY day at Edgbaston to see the tennis warm-up to Wimbledon event, the weather was beau-tiful, the Pimm's divine lol, and the tennis was great (saw Daniela Hantuchova, Alicia Molik and Brit no. 1 Elena Baltacha play). Exams were all through Wimbledon grrr!!! But I still managed to watch a respectable (lol) amount on the TV, not that I became unnecessarily diverted by Tim Henman losing the day before maths you understand...:P On women's finals day, July 2, I was not watching, but was in lovely Edinburgh (1st trip to Scotland) to join the Make Poverty History rally, which was INCREDIBLE, so many cool people campaigning for a good cause. I felt like I was possibly making a difference, more so than if I had been to see Live 8 or whatever. Anyway, that was amazing, and so powerful when we all stood in the Meadows in silence for 3 minutes. Me and Lizzy were v well attired in bandanas, flags, whistles banners and slogan t-shirts hehe, I felt the part!!

So Scotland was unbelievable, despite the fact that I didn't sleep at all on the Friday or Saturday nights I was there. Not at all. Never done that before. Of course the whole G8 thing was undermined by the London bombing on July 7, which was certainly shocking. I found out about it on the way to Drayton Manor park with Hugh, Preets, Kathryn, Chris, Sian etc for a well-deserved Millennium Volunteers day out, and wasn't surprised but it was still awful. We all had a really fun day out though, not really knowing the full extent of everything until we got home. I just hope that we won't see a repeat (this Thursday, the 21st was another worrying event though). Me and Hugh had a fab time on the pink elephant ride (HAD to laugh at Hugh practically knocking out the steward in 'excitement' at the prospect of such a ride lol), Excalibur hahaha, the Pirate adventure and other similarly wimpy rides hehe. We left Maelstrom, Pandemonium etc to Preets :) Actually, I did go on Storm Force 10 which is scary-ish hehe, I love that!!! Even though I was next to a slightly terrified Sian.

The following day I went to Hugh's and Preets's birthday parties (yeah 2 in the same night, social butterful that I am)Preets' was especially fun, held at the Varsity club, as I got to meet a nice young man by the name of Steven-more-commonly-known-as-Dex :)I saw him play with his band Cardboardbox at Leamington last summer, but didn't really talk to him then, but I did at Preets', and very sweet he is too. Also went out with him the following thurs ;)to see a wicked film at Warwick Arts Centre, 13 Conversations about one thing, and of course to get to know each other better :). So we'll see what happens there...hehe! In the meantime, on July 10, me and mum went to the most STUNNINGLY AMAZING AND BRILLIANT gyspy jazz festival L'Esprit Manouche in Moseley Park on one of the hottest days of the year. There were many incredible gyspy fiddlers and guitarists there, my favourite was Tim Kliphuis the jazz violinist who played with an amazing jazz quartet and performed some wonderful Grappelli-esque pieces. I was just entranced, it was unbelievable. Everyone was so chilled there, so laid back, it was one of the very best music events I've ever been to (maybe THE best for the relaxation factor).

On July 16th I went to London with my fabby mum and sis (a tiny bit apprehensive initially I have to say) to see Guys and Dolls at the Piccadilly Theatre in the West End. Starring Ewan McGregor as Sky Masterson, Douglas Hodge as Nathan Detroit, Jane Krakowski as Miss Adelaide and Jenna Russell as Sarah Brown, it was FANTASTIC! The dancing was just so energetic, and the performances were great, especially Jane who I thought was hilarious and a brilliant singer too. I love the show anyway, but to see it right there on the stage was incredible! I have to say, I loved Marlon Brando & Frank Sinatra more as Sky & Nathan more in the film version, but Ewan did a really good job, and he's so cute! Just brilliant overall. And so was London generally, such a vibrant city, so much going on, so lively! We all pretended to be posh and looked around Fortnum & Mason, and also saw Leicester Square being transformed for the Charlie & the Chocolate Factory premiere; the statues were 'chocolate-covered', there were candy canes, mirrors in the trees, bright colours everywhere. Can't WAIT to see that film, Johnny is amazing!

SO finally, to this week. My birthday was lovely on Wed, I'm 18 yay!!!! Mum gave me an iPod (sooo cool!! I'm addicted already), gorge earrings, a music mug which has to be seen to be believed :p, chocs, a brill Judy book, beautiful flowers, and from Lizzy I got a piccy frame which is v funky, more choccies (in a So cool Maxim's de Paris art deco-style tin!), and tres glam earrings. I love them both so much. Tan and Heath came round and sand to me! (with some persuasion :P) and I opened their 'expertly' wrapped pressies hehe, a lovely necklace, a funky hedgehog called chuckle, a candle kit, choccies and keyring lol. Thank you my dears, love you too. Had a lovely afternoon with them, then went out to Da Corrado restaurant in the evening mmm! A fabby day :)

Also this week, went ice skating with Fran Katy C, Katie B, Kathryn Q and James T which was COOL. I wasn't too bad atually! Also cinema trip with the lovely Preets, saw a HILARIOUS film called Seres Queridos about an exceedingly dysfunctional family. She gave me some gorge perfumes too and we went for drinks, and a much-needed and enjoyed chat afterwards. Aiyshah popped over as well on Fri :)Saturday was fab, went for a wonderful evening out with Chris, Tan, Daz, Heath, Katie, Katy, Shona, Sian and Fran at Yellow River. I was surrounded by waiters and sang happy birthday to by everyone which was funny! (and of course very tuneful! :P)More lovely pressies, and a great time all-round, even with Katie's incompetent water-pouring. Heath's mango, mango and orange sorbet, my and Shona's signing and my and Chris's table-drumming. *sigh* :)

And that is all. Ooh except leaving do, which was wonderful, I felt really glam in my dress, and everyone looked v elegant and gorge. Can't believe the whole school thing is over!! *sniff* Off to Geordieland for 5 days tomorrow, should be good.

And when I return and my Emma thing is back from Vancouver (miss you by the way!!) there will be a La Tasca reunion!!!!

Wow. Long post. I do apologise :P

it's finally over! My Grade 8 violin is done yayyyyyyy, well presuming I passed which I really hope I did. I was really happy with my pieces, even with a few dodgy bits in the Tchaikowsky and Gershwin but hey ho. Scales BAD, that cruel examiner didn't ask me any of the ones I've spent hours practicing and made me do the 'easier' 2-octave ones...grrr. Sight-reading was OK, and the aural test was EVIL. Nuff said. But am SO relieved I can relaxxx in the hols now!! :)Conservatoire is officially over *sniff*. Been there every Saturday for the last 6-ish years, now I don't know what I'm going to do with my weekends!! Suppose I could technically get a job.....haha

Plans for rest of (lovely) time off:
*Look for posh dress for leaving ball
*See Lorna next Monday (she's moving to london on 16th April)
*Go out in Cov with Hannah and Laura N
*See Tan and Heath (I WILL dammit :P)
*Aiyshah party stuff (Emma have you been contacted?:))
    *Read books
    *Watch films
*Don't revise (OK well, maybe I will have to at some stage but hmm)
    *See Emma sometime
    *Train for Race for Life

So far I've had a gorge meal at Loch Fyne with mum and Lizzy (their kippers are the BEST), practiced violin FAR too much, gone to the gym, been shopping, and had recurring nightmares about planes falling from the sky. Oh and eaten LOADS of choccy. Lizzy got me a colossal beast of a Lindt egg, and mum got me a Cadbury dream egg, 2 EGGS IN ONE.....wow.

And of course I watched Easter Parade (for what is Easter without Fred and Judy in their hobo gear and the FACE?? Nothin I tell ya) which never fails to make me smiiiiile.

    Tis all,
Until whenever I feel like updating,

I went for the second time to the Solihull Symphony Orchestra, there's a 90-year old 2nd violinist, how cool is that!
French films rule, especially ones with Gerard Depardieu; he's strangely charismatic.

    COOL day!!
I think today was just about momentous enough for an update, so update I shall. :) Well, most of you who are reading this already know, but THE Tony Blair came to HoE today wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Yes, dudes, the good old PM! Exciting stuff, no?
Me and Emma had to converse with the press, which basically involved us answering questions from a woman journalist from the Evening Mail. 'So, did you know who was coming before today?' 'Erm, well, yes, that is to say, no, we found out 'yesterday'' or something along those lines. And Emma, I hardly think our comments were insignificant, in fact they were exceedingly insightful in every way...hmmm. :P
So we gathered in the staff room waiting for Rt Hon Antony Charles Lyndon Blair's arrival (feet got vvvvv sore *sniff* with all that standing but so what). Thing is, he didn't come into the staff room, so we all dashed outside into the reception. And then a policeman nodded, signalling that he was coming along the corridor ahhh! I think I probably did stare a bit :P There was a lot of kerfuffle involving Hugh and a camera, then he made his way along us all, and he was standing sooo close! Like, wow. Wish I could've talked to him though! Seemed v nice and friendly, said hi to us (I was so chuffed to be in small group of students that was actaully aware of his presence in HoE, I'm so a Blairite ;P) now everyone's like 'I love Tony Blair!' etc hehe. Then he was whisked into his jag and left our school followed by police motorbike and car entourage thing. Was sooooo cool with all the security, my sis said a policeman examined her fruit shoot bottle before she put it into a bin this morning lol! Plus man talking into his watch and various MI5 dudes.
Have watched ALL the newses, my sis was on BBC News 24 as you saw Tony arriving, Mrs Croft v prominent in fluorescent pink jacket. Was also amused by him receiving a spiderman mousemat with 'LEO' on it on ITV news hehe. Ooh saw a bit of Katherine too! Anyways, I think our PM is COOL! And he got a copy of our school newspaper with my article on it yay! :D

    So, busy day...

    In other news:
UCAS form is off, am awaiting responses. I'm going to volunteer in Heartlands Hospital next Monday and Tuesday, and Lorna is currently appearing in a new BBC series 'I Dream' She's really good in it, I think :)

    See ya!

    Ooh ooh and

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIM AND GREG! :) hehe

    How coincidential, same birthdays.

    Yes. Anyway. :D
    8:37 pm
    Busy day
Just got back from Southampton, so I'm pretty tired :) I thought the Biomedical Building and Boldrewood Campus was pretty nice, and the road where the accommodation was was lovely, lots of trees etc. And the city was nice, very cityish. It had a Starbucks!! wow. So yeah, I'm going for Medicine for real now, there's just the small matter of the personal statement...hmm. I wanna be a doctor, man!

    Dr Reid...

    :D hehe

Debating whether or not to go to Glasgow on Wednesday, will see if I can summon the energy :) Och aye!
Ooh don't know if I posted my AS results, but was pretty chuffed (understatement :P) to get AAAA, esp in Maths which I was sure I messed up bigtime, and French in which I thought the listening and reading had been completely disasterous. Obviously judgement not good. But yay anyway!! Can relax a bit this year now hopefully.

*Sigh* back at college.....yay....at least I have Period 5 free on a Friday so I can rest at home a bit before dashing out to Sainsbury's, thats funkyish. And French should be different this year with Miss Perris! Hehe

Now I need to locate Emma in order to find out about lesson tomorrow..

    Everything
I've done so so much since I last posted but no matter, hopefully everything will remain in memory for a long time even if I don't write it down.

Holiday in Alcudia, Mallorca was gorgeous; I went swimming in THE OUTDOOR POOL (rare occurance for me lol) every day, chilled and had well-deserved (well I think so anyway) relaxation with the best mum and sis in the world (not point of debate! :P)Especially good was the evening out to Son Amar, with fab meal and wicked show (dancers, acrobats, singers etc) all in one!

Lille (June 26th-July 3rd) was certainly eventful. I ended up working in a Tour Operators where I was expected to run the place while the Manager gadded about to 'Rendezvous Exterieurs'. Needless to say, was not an enjoyable experience, I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown by about Tuesday afternoon. But hey ho, fab Fabrice organised me not one but two new placements, one in a Dance Centre (in rough part of Lille where got followed by random guys and so was creeped out) and one in JADIS PRESSE which was so cool.
The shop sold old newspapers (for each day of every year since about 18-something), and the two shop workers were lovely (and V eccentric) esp the woman (can't remember her name! :( ) who kept saying how adorable (lol!) I was and gave me three, 3! free newspapers, one for me, Emma and Fab of the days we were born. Lille itself was OK, some bits nicer than others, and I've just got my photos developed and they are coolness! All the other peeps from random schools around the country were pretty cool too, esp Sarah, Hannah, Laura, Catherine and Izzy. On the down side, me and Emma nearly suffocated in our Hotel room due to over-zealous use of toxic fumes by cleaners (I suspect) hehe! I wonder if Sarah still has those road signs...hmmm....

My birthday was on July 20th and was also brill (except Heath owes me a pressie!!!!grr :P). Received the best pressies, incl Katharine Hepburn and John McEnroe biogs, a fondue set hehe, old film star coasters, chocs, DVDs of 'Belleville Rendez-vous', 'Etre et Avoir' and the 'Ladykillers' (from Emma, proper version :P)plus Fernando the bird pen from Tan.
Went for gorge meal at Yellow River (cashew nut chicken mmmmmmmmmmmm) and saw Shrek 2 (Puss-in-Boots is masterful creation lol!!!)(Love Donkey though).

To bring myself upto date, have spent past week at Bupa Parkway Hospital on Work Experience. This has involved me carrying out various tasks such as:
    *Filing
*Hostessing (although at least in that I did get to see patients)
    *Sitting observing receptionists
*Putting together welcome packs for patients
Plus infinitely more useful ones like:
    *Chatting to Consultants
*Having a tour around the Pathology lab
*Chatting to (gorgeous!) Resident Medical Officer, thereby gaining valuable insight into medical profession and gorgeousness. LOL!
Everyone there is really nice, but now am v tired having spent all day on my feet, and am kinda relieved that tomorrow is last day.

Finally, have almost finally decided that I do want to be a Doctor (medical) and so am reading up on everything. Am also considering a gap year, as would be really exciting!

    That is all

Hmmm have had muy cultured weekend so far :)

On Friday evening I went to see Othello at Warwick Arts Centre with some lovely peeps inc Heather B (who has the best music taste in the world after me lol :P) Preets the gorge who gets drunk on half a Bacardi breezer bless her, and Hugh. Me and Preets were checkin out various audience members, v amusing pastime! ;) Oooh I LURVE Baileys flava Haagen Dasz (is that the way you spell it?), yummy! The play itself was pretty good, although perhaps comical where such humour was unintented (e.g. Desdemona death scene...) Some bits were really touching though, and Iago was MEEEEEEAN! BOOO!! :( The actor that played Othello was wicked!

So yesterday I went on my jolly way to the Conservatoire, 1st time in about 5 weeks. Evidently despite exams my violin teacher is not going to ease up *tsk*, scale assessment in a few weeks grr! ooh ooh, in Chamber we're doing The Four Seasons, which rocks socks :) yay!!

Hoy, I worked at Sainsburys. Yes. So they put me on blimmin SHOP FLOOR with the lovely Emma (not the Emma, another one), and I ended up destroying displays etc with my total inability to manoeuvre L-shape trolley contraption. Hehe, so twas eventful! We did encounter some problems with exploding custard though ick! All over everything it was!
    Anyway.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DARLING HEATHER!!! :)
I'll bring you your pressie tomorrow OK me dear?
Woolies was all closed up today anyway with power failure, so you didn't miss much

I've just listened to Sunset Boulevard on Radio 2, I LUV MUSICALS!
Ooh speaking of musicals, has anyone seen The Pirate?? Its kerazy; this is an example of a song featured in this psychedelic erm masterpiece...

Mack the Black: check out these lyrics will ya?
    Mack the Black
    'Round the Carib-BE-an,
    Mack the Black
    Or Ca-RIBB-ean Sea.
    Mack the Black
    'Round the Carib-BE-an,
    'Round the Carib-BE-an,
    Or Ca-RIBB-ean Sea.

Yes, basically the song centres around the American and English pronunciations of the word 'Caribbean'...and from the same song...
    Mack the Black, Macoco.
    From Guadalupe to Barbados,
    Tornados,
    Get them to him desperados.
Through all the Carib-BE-an or vicinity,
Macoco leads a flaming trail of masculinity,
And suddenly I feel I've got a big affinity,
And I'm "loco" for Mack, Mack,
    Mack the Black, Macoco!

Hehe, it's genius I say!! I reckon the film rules anyway, despite the above :P

Well, have memorised my French speechy thing which am quite chuffed about :) Not too worried about Oral exam really. ENJOY BANK HOLIDAY EVERYONE!

Hi there! Yes, it's me again. :) I finally feel like I've really been able to rest properly for the 1st time in, well, months. Consequently I feel quite rejuvenated *smiles*

Have recently been having romantic film-fest, during the course of which I have seen (among others) An Affair To Remember (terrible!) Casablanca (*sigh* it's just fab *sniff*) Sleepless in Seattle (fabbylousness) and Meet Me In St Louis (*bounces* LOVE IT!) It's silly, I'm such an old romantic, but I don't care! It's great! Just wish I could find the perfect romantic guy now...*sighs*

Ah well, was served by pretty cute (though pierced :P) specimen in HMV yesterday hehe. Mmmm
ANYWAY, yesterday ruled, because I spent it in Brum with Heath, Tan and Kat 3 of the most gorgeousest peeps in the world (although I resent being called 'my townie friend' by H) Just joking my darling! We SO must do it again sometime! And soon! hehe Mon was also cool- Hugh and the ubiquitous (lol tan) Heather popped round and we danced about in the living room like crazy loons. Which is what we are. *grin*

Am now spending some quality time with my lovely mum.

IT'S EASTER!!! YAYYYYYYYY!!!! I love school holidays sooooo much!! *bounce* I could sleep for the whole 2 weeks, but I won't, as this would be serious time wastage. I like to Do stuff, man, yeah! Lizzy's gone skiing *sniff* I miss her already! Plus I all her pets have been entrusted into my care (eek!) so am slightly concerned, particularly as gerbils are kind of OAPs. In gerbil terms anyway. Today I saw Miss Smith! As when I saw Mrs Cambridge for the first time in years the other week, the 1st question was 'how's the violin going?', not 'how are you?' or whatever...lol! Well anyway, was cool, she's still a nutter... I worked at Sainsbury's as per normale (pay day woohoooooo) and had a cake fest in maths (exceedingly ABnormal but fab :)) felt bit queasy after though. That extra slice of cherry cake was too much, hoglet that I am.
Have just watched the fabbyness that is Sleepless in Seattle- love that film sooooo much! So romantic *sigh*
Also in the Ally files this week:
Got yellow belt in taekwondo with Heath! We rule!! Except heath can smash boards and I can't hehe
    Beat up self defence instructor
Learned the work for daffodil in French JONQUILLE!

Hmm don't know what I'm going to do for the next few weeks. I may be going up to my 'homeland' (GEORDIEWOLRD!) for a coupla days but not sure as yet. Oi Heathification we are going to Brum on Tues aren't we? Must check with Kat. In the meantime, I need a social life. Anyone that wants to do anything, just let me know!! *huggles*

    Love you!

I love colours!! All rainbowy and wuvley...okkk, the sun's just come out, suddenly went a bit doolally (not hard pour moi, seemingly).
Alex the Annoying One said yesterday 'you're always happy'
    Well I'm not.
It's just that I choose to be happy unless an occurence erm occurs to make me something else. Plus I find that many things are worth being happy about, particularly considering the many sad events which I have had to cope with...

    Yes I'm in kinda-thoughtful (rare! :P) mode

So, at the min, yes I am HAPPY! YAY!

Spoke French with Emma on the way back from shoppys, c'etait amusant, surtout parce que nous avons parle sur les truc interesants au lieu d'immigration, la francophonie et le such-like.
Can you actually DO accents on this thing? *prods* I'm sure someone will inform me :) eeeeeeeeeeeeee

I'm going to France...for...WORK EXPERIENCE! AHHHHHHHHH!!!

Ooh also, having missed Taekwondo for (as Tan would say) copious amounts of weeks (or summat) Hethything and I were informed that our next grading is.....wait for it...... NEXT WEEK!! Nooooooooo! Give me self defence any day yay! I love battering people *evil grin* esp my ikkle heatherness

    And, continuing the Munchie theme...

    I like Munchies

Hmm Wednesday and Thursday I performed in the 'Images of War' concert with the wonderful maestro Hannah. It was fab!! Just like the old days of Smoke Gets In Your Eyes, Music of the Night and the suchlike......*goes all nostalgic* My legs were shaking so badly with nerves though (whyyyyy I ask myself, I mean I've only been in like 8987652 concerts, well it feels like that anyway :P)
I thought I sounded pretty good on me ikkle fiddloid, got camcorded too eek!
Aston University was kinda fun, especially our slogan for the LANCE-DISQUE: something like 'dont sleep, shoot' hehe!
Crawled into work on Fri, got observed AGAIN by Karl (all green lights though yay x 100000)
Got told I looked terrible by 2 people on Fri aussi hehe (well, I was DYING at the time...Emma *tsk*)
Had a film-watching weekend, Billy Elliot (awww)and Summer Stock which is OLD but sooo romantic *sniff*

I resent the fact that emma described me as the never-updating icymintal to andy, so here I am!! *mutters* Perfectly true of course *grumbles*
    Sooo anyway...
I'm going to play Schindler's List in the concert on Wed yay! With the great MAESTRO hannah, even better! Will be just like old times *turns nostalgic*
    This weekend I:
    1. Almost died at Sainsbury's
    2. Confused courgettes for root ginger in a moment of madness
    3. Got stalked by my conservatoire-stalker (ok, he's not technically a stalker, he's Ben, but still...is very bizarre)
    4. Re-met Andy! Who is very lovely and only annoyed me very slightly (very very slightly :P) by *insulting* Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski within 5 minutes of meeting me. But as I said to emma, it's not like I'm not used to it! HAHA!! But I didn't really mind as generally Andy is muy nice and I'm *SURE* it was unintentional :D
    5. Almost died at Sainsbury's again
    6. Collapsed at home doing homework (unnecessarily too, I discovered later...*tsk*)
    7. Attempted to stay up to watch Oscars but failed
I wanted Johnny to win best actor!!!!!! UNJUST!
    8. Caught glandular fever off tan
    9. Sat at computer and updated, yes UPDATED this LJ! Woohoooooo
Do I feel accomplished or what??

Until next time in the Ally Chronicles
    Adieu!

    BACK FROM THE BRINK...
Yes, wanted a dramatic intro...unfortunately this entry will not live up to the title, as I've not been around any brinks recently but hey :)
Hmmmm quand j'ai last updated?? DECEMBER 8TH!!!!WHAT!!! *is actually quite shocked and appalled :P* Ok, I can't remember everything I've done since then but I will attempt to cover the highlights:
    1. Obviously, there was Christmas. Got lots of lovely pressies!Gorge food, nice rest etc :D
    Moving on...
2.Went to bootifool Paris avec the lovely (yet slightly eccentric) emmaness! Was forced to stand with silly ducky (nah, it's really very erm cute...hehe) in front of many of Paris' famous landmarks. Ever so slightly embarrassing but tant-pis! Paris is fabbyness! Esp Montmartre (because of Amelie!) and the Champs-Elysees *dreams* The Europe conference was really good, Emma was great asking her question to Michael Portillo! I remember eating a ham sandwich, Chris left his passport back at the hotel hahahaha!! and Richard attempted to back a piggy-back up the blimmin MOUNTAIN (ok, slight exaggeration) from Abbesses station. Ahh yes and Emma and Phil worried me for a while with a coin...
    WANNA GO BACK!!
    3. Got rose from guy at work 4 valentines day. Was taunted for it mercilessly by managers, who have also taken to singing the beautiful song 'who the f*** is Alice' whenever in my presence...:P They are amusing I SUPPOSE
    4. Met Heath's ever-so-slightly-scary bf thomasina. They make a great couple (though are quite intimadating while stalking one outside the conservatoire...)
    5. Did ASys!! Didn't think I did too badly, in fact think I did quite well :)
    6. Errrrrrm errrrrm performed in 2 conservytoire concerts, yes i am a little maestro lol!
    7. My Greggy (hehe) could be banned from tennis! Can't BELIEVE the verdict isn't out yet!!! *cries*
    8. I LOVE JOHNNY DEPP- recently watched 'Chocolat' again....mmmmmmmm *sighs*
    9. Also felt weirdly attracted to Gene Kelly while watchin Singin in the Rain the other day...bizzaaaaare :S hehe!!
    10. Had groovy half term, caught up on some much needed sleep!
    11. REALLY want to go to Jen's partay next week, after the shenanigans at Liz's (*shocked at Kt!!*)
    12. I love my lips top from mexx...gorrrge
    13. My mum and sis are the best
